Pak Foods is a family owned business owned by Rana Hamza Khan and his family. Together, we have over 15 years of experience in the money services, retail, catering and foods industry. After these many years of practical experience with different companies, realizing to run our own food business instead of working for someone else, Pak Foods has purchased a 1700 sq ft\u00a0 commercial bay for its family business, located at Jackson port Square NE Calgary, a newly developed business complex.\u00a0<\/p>

Halal meat and groceries has become increasingly popular and demanding in the NE quadrant of Calgary due to the dense population of South Asian citizens. Pak Foods is a traditional East Indian\/Pakistani style food store priced moderately and offers a large variety of grocery items, fresh and frozen Halal meats, restaurant Take-Out services, money transfer services and much more to accommodate the needs of our customers. Pak Foods is well known for its halal East Indian and Pakistani cuisine at affordable prices. We started our home-based catering business in 2018 and now with the strong customer demand and popularity, we decided to create a Pak Kitchen under the flagship of Pak Foods. We provide delicious take out dishes and catering as well. Pak Kitchen uses in store quality food ingredients to ensure that our foods leave the customer more than satisfied. Coupled with friendly kitchen staff, Pak Foods provides a memorable experience and strives to become your first choice take-out and catering.<\/p>

Pak kitchen dishes are known for having aromatic and spicy flavors, and some dishes often contain liberal amounts of oil which contributes to a richer, fuller mouthfeel and flavour. Brown cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, mace, and black pepper are the most commonly used spices in the making of a wide variety of dishes. Cumin seeds, chili powder, turmeric and bay leaves are also very popular. In Pak kitchen, it is further diluted with coriander powder.
